Samsung presented the new Galaxy S20 series at the unpacked event in San Fransisco on 11 February. The S20 devices follow the Samsung Galaxy S10 series from 2019. In this blog you can read more about this device and which SoSkild products can help to protect this precious device.
The new Samsung Galaxy S20 series consists of the S20, S20 and S20 Ultra. In addition to a regular version, all three devices will also have a 5G version. The 5G variants can use the latest wireless internet technology and thus achieve the fastest internet speeds.
At 6.2 inches, the S20 is the "smallest" model of the three. This is followed by the S20 + with 6.7 inches and the S20 has a size of 6.9 inches. The screen of the S20 is, just like the S10, a so-called Infinty display. This means that the phone screen is borderless. The camera hole is integrated in the center of the screen with the S20.
This year the developers at Samsung have done their best on the camera. This is in fact considerably more extensive than last year's S10. Both the S20 and S20 + have a 10 megapixel camera on the front and the Ultra a 40 megapixel camera. The biggest change is in the camera module on the back. The S20 has three cameras, the S20 + and the Ultra have no less than 4. The Ultra also has an additional 100x zoom. At Samsung they also call this 'space zoom'.
